More than any other experience, the Bali Institute helped me widen my world lens to allow me to see multiple perspectives and viewpoints. No other gathering has encouraged me more to step beyond my own believes, connect with others, and take action at the edge of the unknown.

Motivated by my Bali experiences, I have moved beyond my responsibilities as a high school principal to join a broader network of leadership coaches and school leaders (Asia Society's International Studies Schools Network) initiating an international focus in high schools across the United States. The Bali Institute helped me replace doubt with possibility, darkness with hope in action.
