IKON Institute of Australia is dedicated to advancing knowledge and understanding in humanistic studies through vocational education and practice. IKON’s educational philosophy is grounded in functional and evidence-based humanism, whilst validating and utilising the wisdom and experience of global intellectual and spiritual traditions.

Their aim is to create a difference through learning, and for its’ graduates to continually develop their own potential. Students’ development of skills, knowledge and therapeutic practice will contribute to the creation of an international community of people and practitioners committed to social change, community building and individual healing.

The Institute is based in Adelaide, South Australia, and has branches in Perth, Western Australia, and Brisbane, Queensland. It offers Government-recognized vocational training in Counseling, Youth Work, Transpersonal Counseling and Transpersonal Art Therapy, with plans to expand to other fields in the future.

Bali Institute is delighted to host students in Art Therapy who are doing three-week or more practicum focused on bringing creativity tools that allow Balinese participants to express feelings and issues of concern that often go unnoticed. Many of the participants have special physical or mental disabilities and are often not given opportunities to apply artwork as a means of self and cultural expression.
